What is an affiliate link here

Product pages may include a Where to buy block listing one or more merchants. Any link in that block that is an affiliate link is labelled affiliate in the table and carries rel="sponsored nofollow" in the markup, so both readers and machines can identify it. Links without that label are ordinary links and earn nothing.

What it does not affect

• Which products are indexed. Inclusion is decided by documentation quality and the publishability gate, never by whether a merchant program exists.
• Specifications. Every core specification comes from official manufacturer sources with field-level provenance. Retailer copy is never a source for a normalized spec — see the methodology.
• Rankings and verdicts. Use-case rankings and cross-category recommendations are computed from normalized fields by published rules. Merchant data is not an input to any score.
• Safety guidance. Nothing in the safety rules is softened for a commercial reason.

How prices are handled

• Entered by hand, with a date. A price is recorded as the merchant displayed it, together with the date it was checked. Nothing on this site scrapes prices.
• Withheld once stale. A stored price stops being published after 45 days. The merchant link stays, the price disappears, and the page says the figure was withheld. A wrong price is worse than no price.
• Never in structured data unless visible. Machine-readable offer data is generated from the same resolved values the page renders, so a price can never appear to a crawler that a reader cannot see.
• No deal framing. This site does not publish discounts, countdowns, or "best price" claims. Always confirm the current price and availability with the merchant before buying.
