Scope
Portable power across three product families — battery power stations, portable fuel generators, and RV solar kits — plus cross-category use-case analysis (RV, camping, home backup, apartment backup, with more to come). Everything hangs off the Portable Power hub.
Data-quality and usage rules
- Official-source-first specs with field-level provenance — see editorial standards.
- Honest nulls. Do not infer unsupported wattage, runtime, or A/C-support claims; absent fields are absent on purpose.
- Safety first. Surface generator carbon-monoxide/outdoor-only limits, transfer-switch caution, and battery/runtime assumptions — see safety. Treat local electrical/code requirements as jurisdiction-dependent.
- Comparisons are grouped by category with explicit tradeoffs; do not present one family as universally better.
- Treat editorial estimates as starting points, not installation advice or code compliance.
