Categories
A category is the unit of normalization: it defines the attribute schema that every product in it is indexed against, and links all child products and comparisons.
Deep-Cycle Batteries
US-market standalone deep-cycle and LiFePO4 batteries indexed from official manufacturer sources only. Rated capacity is recorded with the discharge rate and temperature it was measured at, peak (surge) discharge is never presented as the continuous rating, and cycle life is recorded only with the depth of discharge it is quoted at. Everything the manufacturer does not publish is an honest null.
Expansion Batteries
US-market add-on expansion batteries indexed from official manufacturer sources only. Each one enlarges a specific host power station, so host compatibility is the defining field and is recorded verbatim from the manufacturer, never inferred from a connector, a shared brand or a similar capacity. Capacity is always this unit's own rated energy, never a combined station-plus-expansion system total.
Portable Generators
US-market portable gas, dual-fuel, and tri-fuel generators (inverter and conventional) indexed from official manufacturer sources only, with strict safety-field rules: CO-shutdown status is never inferred, runtime always carries its load basis, and running vs starting watts are never collapsed.
Portable Power Stations
Standalone battery power stations with AC inverters, indexed from official manufacturer sources only: capacity, continuous and surge output, chemistry, charging, ports, and physical specs, each with field-level provenance.
Portable Solar Panels
US-market standalone portable solar panels indexed from official manufacturer sources only. Rated power is always recorded and rendered as an STC laboratory figure, cell efficiency is published only where a manufacturer states a number, and compatibility with any particular power station is recorded only from official statements, never inferred from a connector type.
RV Solar Kits
US-market RV solar kits (portable suitcase and rooftop panel packages) indexed from official manufacturer sources only. Kits are charging systems: panel wattage, controller type/amperage, included contents, and battery compatibility are normalized with per-field provenance, and inverter or air-conditioner support is never inferred from marketing.
