Overview
The iGen12000TFc is the successor to the iGen11000TFc in Westinghouse's tri-fuel inverter line, adding 1,000 W of peak output on each fuel. It runs on gasoline, propane or natural gas from the same 457 cc OHV engine, holds THD at or below 3%, and offers a 120/240 V 14-50R 50 A outlet, a 120/240 V L14-30R 30 A twist-lock and a GFCI 5-20R duplex, all transfer-switch ready. Westinghouse lists it as RV ready. Its built-in CO sensor shuts the engine down automatically when dangerous CO levels are detected nearby. Gasoline runtime is 19 h at 25% load and 11 h at 50% on the 7.9 gal tank; propane is 9 h and 5 h on a 20 lb cylinder.
Variant note: Carbureted tri-fuel iGen12000TFc with CO Sensor (part 11027). Successor to the iGen11000TFc, which is indexed separately. Distinct from the dual-fuel iGen12000DFc.
Data note: All core and safety fields from the Westinghouse product page spec table (part number 11027). Amazon listing agrees on watts, weight (191 lb), dimensions (30.2 x 25.2 x 26.6 in), 457 cc engine and 7.9 gal tank. Westinghouse lists 'RV Ready: Yes', recorded as rvOutletPresent via the 14-50R 50 A receptacle; there is no TT-30R. Weight is the stated dry unit weight.
Specifications
Running and starting watts are never collapsed; every runtime figure carries its fuel and load basis; THD is shown only when officially stated numerically. Core values' original claims and sources are in the provenance table. The final group is computed from the fields above and marked as derived.

Use cases
- Whole-home backup through a transfer switch or interlock: 120/240 V with 14-50R and L14-30R
- Long outages on natural gas from a house line
- 50 A RV service at the campsite or in the driveway
- Sensitive electronics at high output (≤3% THD)
Cross-category fit flags (stored for future battery-vs-generator pages, not yet used for ranking): RV suitable · camping not suitable · home backup suitable · apartment use: no · sensitive electronics: high · noise class: unknown.
Strengths and weaknesses
