Overview
The Boulder 100 Briefcase is Goal Zero's rigid alternative to the fabric-backed Nomad line: two 50 W tempered-glass monocrystalline sub-panels chained together and connected by a hinge, framed in aluminium with corner protection, and shipped with a protective canvas bag for carrying. Combined output is 100 W at STC with Voc 21.5 V and Vmpp 17.2 V; the current page does not publish Impp or Isc. It uses Goal Zero's blue 8 mm output (14–21.5 V, up to 7 A / 100 W max), so it is officially specified for Goal Zero Yeti power stations rather than generic solar input, and no charge controller is included since it is intended to feed the controller inside a Yeti. At 25.9 lb (11.7 kg) it is heavier than the same-wattage Nomad 100, in exchange for a more durable glass-and-aluminium construction that survives repeated setup and takedown better than fabric hinges.
