The materially higher module efficiency (15.7% vs 14.9% on the standard 100W Flexible) comes from PERC cell technology, and Renogy also rates it Class A for fire — a stronger classification than the standard Flexible line. Output is MC4 via a 12 AWG 2.3 ft cable per side, the junction box is IP67, and there is no charge controller included. The trade-off for the black cosmetics is that the 12x3 cell layout gives a narrower panel that fits some van/roof spans better than the 4x9 standard flexible.
