A battery is a component, not a power supply. Rated capacity is measured at a stated discharge rate and temperature (shown below where the manufacturer publishes it). Real usable energy is lower and depends on the depth of discharge you run the pack to, the load, the temperature and the inverter it feeds. This index publishes rated figures only and derives no single "real usable watt-hours" number. On its own a bare
battery has no inverter, no charge controller and no AC outlet: it stores energy for a system you
build around it, and its safe charge and discharge limits (in the specifications below) are part of
that system design.

This is LiTime's standard 12 V 100 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, the plain Group 31 model without self-heating, Bluetooth or low-temperature protection. It is rated 100 Ah and 1,280 Wh at a 12.8 V nominal, with a 100 A battery management system holding continuous charge and discharge to 100 A each and allowing a 400 A surge for 1 second. LiTime publishes an unusually complete cycle-life picture: 4,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, rising to 6,000 cycles at 80% and 15,000 at 60%, so the shallower the discharge the longer the pack lasts. It charges between 0 C and 50 C and discharges between -20 C and 60 C. Because this model has no self-heating and no low-temperature protection, it should not be charged below freezing. It weighs 11.0 kg in a Group 31 case with M8 bolt terminals and an IP65 rating, and up to four units may be wired in series and four in parallel. It ships no charge controller or inverter: it is the storage element of a system built around it, and LiTime backs it with a 5-year warranty.
Variant note: Standard 'Basic' 12V 100Ah Group 31 (SKU L12V100-100-Basic-4-A100). Distinct from LiTime's low-temperature-protection, self-heating, Bluetooth, mini and Group 24 variants, which are separate SKUs with different spec tables. The not-equipped markings on this model's spec table are what distinguish it.
Data note: All figures taken from LiTime's published product-specification table on 2026-08-15 (SKU L12V100-100-Basic-4-A100), the standard 'Basic' model. Two values are unit conversions of the manufacturer's own published figures, with the source units preserved in the raw claims: weight 24.25 lb converts to 11.0 kg, and dimensions 13 x 6.77 x 8.43 in convert to 330.2 x 172.0 x 214.1 mm. lowTempChargingCutoff, selfHeating and bluetoothMonitoring are recorded false as PUBLISHED NEGATIVES, not assumptions: LiTime's spec table marks equipped features with a check and not-equipped features with a slash, and this model prints a slash where the sibling low-temperature model prints a check. usableDoDPercent is null: 100% DoD appears only as a cycle-life test condition, which is a different claim from a recommended usable depth of discharge, so it was not promoted into that field. capacityRatingBasis is null: the table states 'Rated Capacity: 100Ah' with no C-rate, cut-off voltage or temperature. No standalone datasheet PDF is published; the only official PDF is the user manual, recorded in officialManualUrl.
Specifications
Chemistry, nominal voltage, rated capacity and weight come from official manufacturer sources;
the exact claims and links are in the provenance table. Peak
(surge) discharge is always shown with the seconds it is rated for and is never presented as the
continuous rating, and any cycle-life figure is shown with the depth of discharge it is quoted
at. Figures the manufacturer does not publish are left blank rather than estimated.

Use cases
RV, camper, van or marine house battery in a Group 31 tray
Off-grid or backup storage where a published watt-hour rating and a full cycle-life curve help with system sizing
Building a 12 V, 24 V or 48 V bank by wiring up to four units in series and four in parallel
Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
Publishes rated energy directly (1,280 Wh), consistent with 100 Ah at 12.8 V
Cycle life published across three depths of discharge (4,000 at 100%, 6,000 at 80%, 15,000 at 60%) rather than as a single unqualified number
Surge rating published with its duration (400 A for 1 second)
11.0 kg in a standard Group 31 case with IP65 and a 5-year warranty
Not-equipped features are published as explicit negatives rather than left silent
Weaknesses
No self-heating and no low-temperature protection on this model, so it cannot be charged below 0 C
No Bluetooth monitoring on this model (LiTime sells separate variants that add it)
The 400 A surge is rated for only 1 second, a shorter window than several competitors publish
No terminal torque specification published, and no C-rate or cut-off basis stated for the 100 Ah rating
No charge controller or inverter included: it is a storage component, not a power supply
