A battery is a component, not a power supply. Rated capacity is measured at a stated discharge rate and temperature (shown below where the manufacturer publishes it). Real usable energy is lower and depends on the depth of discharge you run the pack to, the load, the temperature and the inverter it feeds. This index publishes rated figures only and derives no single "real usable watt-hours" number. On its own a bare battery has no inverter, no charge controller and no AC outlet: it stores energy for a system you build around it, and its safe charge and discharge limits (in the specifications below) are part of that system design.

Overview

This is LiTime's 12V 200Ah Smart battery, the standard-case Bluetooth model. It is rated 200 Ah and 2,560 Wh at a 12.8 V nominal, with a 100 A battery management system holding continuous charge and discharge to 100 A each, a recommended charge current of 40 A, and a 500 A surge rated for 1 second. Cycle life is published as a curve: 4,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, 6,000 at 80% and 15,000 at 60%. It charges between 0 C and 50 C and discharges between -20 C and 60 C, with a low-temperature protection circuit that automatically stops charging below 0 C and resumes at about 5 C. It is not self-heating. Bluetooth monitoring is built in. It weighs 18.9 kg, is IP65 rated with M8 bolt terminals, and expands to 4S4P with a 5-year warranty. Worth noting against the Renogy 200 Ah indexed here: the two share the same nameplate capacity and 2,560 Wh of energy, but LiTime ships a 100 A BMS against Renogy's 200 A, so the Renogy delivers twice the continuous current from the same stored energy.

Variant note: 12V 200Ah Smart with Bluetooth, standard case (SKU L12V200-100-LTCP-BT-8-A160). Distinct from the 12V 200Ah Plus Self-Heating (200 A BMS, heavier), the three Xtra Mini RV, Marine and Truck models (compact case, 200 A BMS with a 1000 A 1-second peak), the 12V 230Ah Smart, and the several refurbished 'Like New' listings, one of which is the discontinued plain 200 Ah this SKU replaced. Note also that LiTime, Power Queen and WEIZE appear to share an OEM platform, so their spec tables and SKU patterns run parallel and comparison copy should not imply independent engineering.

Data note: Figures taken from LiTime's rendered product-specification table on 2026-08-15 (SKU L12V200-100-LTCP-BT-8-A160, where 100 is the BMS rating, LTCP is low-temperature cutoff protection and BT is Bluetooth). METHOD NOTE: LiTime's spec table is JS-hydrated, so a raw curl fetch returns a false 'unpublished' verdict; the page has to be rendered. WHY THIS IS THE BLUETOOTH MODEL: the plain non-Bluetooth 12V 200Ah is discontinued. Its URL 301-redirects to the Xtra Mini RV battery, and the only remaining 200 Ah listings are this Smart model, a Plus self-heating model, three compact Xtra Mini variants and several refurbished 'Like New' listings. There is no current non-Bluetooth, non-self-heating 200 Ah, so the plainest available standard-case SKU was taken. WEIGHT CONFLICT preserved: the spec table, an on-page comparison table and the meta bullet all state 41.75 lbs (18.9 kg), while one marketing paragraph on the same page states 48.28 lbs. The 41.75 lb figure is recorded on a three-to-one basis and the conflict is noted rather than resolved silently; the LiTime manual PDF could not be text-extracted to break the tie, so this remains the one open thread in the record. Weight and dimensions are conversions of imperial-only published values ('Weight Approx.: 41.75 lbs'; 'Size: L20.95*W8.15*H8.5 inch'), with the source strings preserved in the raw claims. selfHeating is recorded false as a PUBLISHED NEGATIVE (the spec table prints a slash on the Self-Heating row and a check on Low-Temperature Protection). usableDoDPercent is null: 100% DoD appears only as a cycle-life test condition. capacityRatingBasis, bciGroupSize and terminalTorque are not published.

Specifications

Chemistry, nominal voltage, rated capacity and weight come from official manufacturer sources; the exact claims and links are in the provenance table. Peak (surge) discharge is always shown with the seconds it is rated for and is never presented as the continuous rating, and any cycle-life figure is shown with the depth of discharge it is quoted at. Figures the manufacturer does not publish are left blank rather than estimated.

Use cases

  • RV, marine or off-grid house bank where one 200 Ah battery replaces two 100 Ah units
  • Installs where Bluetooth state-of-charge monitoring matters more than maximum continuous current
  • Cold-storage situations needing an automatic charge cutoff below freezing rather than a heating element

Strengths and weaknesses

Strengths

  • Publishes rated energy directly (2,560 Wh) and a full cycle-life curve across three depths of discharge
  • Bluetooth monitoring built in, with the low-temperature cutoff and recovery thresholds both published
  • Recommended charge current published (40 A), which several competitors omit
  • IP65, M8 terminals, 4S4P expansion and a 5-year warranty

Weaknesses

  • 100 A continuous discharge from a 200 Ah pack: the Renogy Core 200Ah indexed here has a 200 A BMS at the same nameplate capacity
  • The 500 A surge is rated for only 1 second, the shortest surge window in this family
  • LiTime's own page contradicts itself on weight (41.75 lb in three places, 48.28 lb in one prose block)
  • Not self-heating: charging simply stops below 0 C
  • No BCI group size, terminal torque or capacity rating basis published
  • No charge controller or inverter included: it is a storage component, not a power supply
