A battery is a component, not a power supply. Rated capacity is measured at a stated discharge rate and temperature (shown below where the manufacturer publishes it). Real usable energy is lower and depends on the depth of discharge you run the pack to, the load, the temperature and the inverter it feeds. This index publishes rated figures only and derives no single "real usable watt-hours" number. On its own a bare
battery has no inverter, no charge controller and no AC outlet: it stores energy for a system you
build around it, and its safe charge and discharge limits (in the specifications below) are part of
that system design.

This is WEIZE's Group 31 12V 100Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, and it publishes a more complete specification set than any other battery indexed here. It is rated 100 Ah and 1,280 Wh at a 12.8 V nominal, and WEIZE states a 100% usable depth of discharge as a specification rather than only as a cycle-life test condition, corroborated by separate rows giving the usable capacity and an available state-of-charge range of 0 to 100%. Continuous discharge is 120 A, which is higher than the BMS nominal current of 100 A, and there are two published surge tiers: 500 A for 3 seconds and 300 A for 5 seconds. Charging is 100 A maximum with a 20 A standard rate. Cycle life is 4,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, rising to 8,000 at 50%. The pack charges between 0 C and 45 C and discharges between -20 C and 60 C, and a low-temperature cut-off stops charging below freezing rather than heating the cells. It weighs 11.0 kg in a standard Group 31 case, is IP65 rated, uses M8 terminal bolts, expands to 4S4P, and carries a 10-year warranty.
Variant note: Plain Group 31 12V 100Ah with no communication module (SKU BAC-0089VWEI). Distinct from WEIZE's Group 31 Bluetooth plus low-temperature sibling and its Group 24 Mini, both of which are also badged '12V 100Ah 1280Wh' and sit at near-identical URLs. The 'NO Communication' specification row is the discriminator. Note also that WEIZE, Power Queen and LiTime appear to share an OEM platform: all three publish the same 4,000 / 6,000-or-8,000 / 15,000-cycle depth-of-discharge ladder, the same 1,280 Wh energy and the same 4S4P expansion, so they are not independent engineering and comparison copy should not imply otherwise.
Data note: All figures taken from WEIZE's tabbed specification block on weizeus.com on 2026-08-15 (SKU BAC-0089VWEI, matching the linked user manual filename). Weight and dimensions are conversions of imperial-only published values ('24.25lbs Weight'; 'L13 x W6.77 x H8.46' inches at 25.4 mm per inch); the source strings are preserved in the raw claims. peakDischargeA records the higher of two published tiers, 500 A for 3 seconds, with the 300 A for 5 seconds tier preserved in cycleLifeConditionsNote's sibling field and in the description. maxContinuousDischargeA is 120 A, which deliberately exceeds the 100 A BMS nominal current recorded in bmsRatingA; both are published as separate rows. bluetoothMonitoring is recorded false as a PUBLISHED NEGATIVE ('NO Communication' is an explicit specification row). selfHeating is null rather than false: the page's 'Low-Temperature Protection' heading describes a charge cut-off, not a heating element, and WEIZE never states either way, so recording false would be inference. STORAGE TEMPERATURE CONFLICT preserved: the specification table states -20 C to 60 C while a marketing block lower on the same page says 'For storage, maintain temperatures between 23F and 113F (-5C to 45C)'. The specification-table value is recorded, per the rule that spec sheets outrank marketing copy, and the discrepancy is flagged here rather than resolved silently. IMAGE CAVEAT: the specification block printed on the battery case in the hero photo is an older revision whose discharge figures do not match the current spec table; the alt text deliberately describes it as 'a specification block' without reproducing any figure, and the photo is never a spec source.
Specifications
Chemistry, nominal voltage, rated capacity and weight come from official manufacturer sources;
the exact claims and links are in the provenance table. Peak
(surge) discharge is always shown with the seconds it is rated for and is never presented as the
continuous rating, and any cycle-life figure is shown with the depth of discharge it is quoted
at. Figures the manufacturer does not publish are left blank rather than estimated.

Use cases
Trolling motors and marine house banks, where the 120 A continuous discharge exceeds the 100 A typical of this class
RV or off-grid storage where a published usable depth of discharge helps size the system honestly
Building a 12 V, 24 V or 48 V bank by wiring up to four in series and four in parallel
Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
The most completely specified battery in this index, including a published usable depth of discharge (100%) rather than only a cycle-life test condition
120 A continuous discharge, higher than the 100 A ceiling of the other 100 Ah packs here
Two surge tiers, both published with their durations (500 A for 3 s and 300 A for 5 s)
Cycle life properly qualified on both tiers (4,000 at 100% DoD, 8,000 at 50%)
10-year warranty, IP65, standard Group 31 drop-in case
Absence of Bluetooth is published as an explicit specification row, not left silent
Weaknesses
No self-heating: a low-temperature cut-off stops charging below 0 C rather than warming the cells
Charge temperature ceiling is 45 C, lower than the 50 C of several packs here
No terminal torque specification published
Weight and dimensions are published in imperial only and are recorded here as conversions
The specification block printed on the battery case in the product photo is an older revision and does not match the current published figures, so the photo must not be read as a spec source
No charge controller or inverter included: it is a storage component, not a power supply
