How this recommendation is built
This is a recommendation layer over the separate category schemas — it compares solutions, it does not merge them into one spec table. Global disqualifiers run first, then each category is filtered and ranked within itself, then results are presented in category groups with an explicit tradeoff summary. Categories are compared only on shared, user-facing axes (indoor-safety, fumes, noise, output, runtime model, setup) — watt-hours are never equated with gallons, and no runtime hours are invented.

- Missing the outlet/voltage compatibility an RV shore cable or converter needs

Battery stations are quieter, lower-maintenance, and indoor-safe, but runtime is limited by stored energy unless recharged. Fuel generators are louder and need fuel plus outdoor placement, but offer longer refill-based runtime and the surge headroom rooftop A/C often needs. RV solar kits do not replace either — they reduce how often you run a generator or hunt for shore power.
