Overview
The AC70 is BLUETTI's compact mid-ranger: a 768 Wh LiFePO4 pack rated for 3,000 cycles to 80%, two 120 V outlets sharing 1,000 W continuous, and a Power Lifting mode that runs resistive loads up to 2,000 W (the manual is explicit that operating power remains 1,000 W). Turbo charging accepts 850 W from the wall for a stated 1.5-hour full recharge, and the XT60 input takes 500 W of solar (12–58 V, MPPT). Dual 100 W USB-C ports are unusual at this size. The manual lists 'UPS ≤20 ms' but its safety instructions exclude devices requiring a high-performance UPS — classified as marketed-UPS. B-series batteries can recharge the AC70 through Power Bank Mode; there is no native expansion port.
Variant note: Base AC70 only. Do not confuse with AC70P (1,000 W / 864 Wh variant with its own product page) or 'AC70 + panel' solar-generator bundles.
Data note: AC input conflict between official sources: the AC2A/AC70 landing page shows both 'AC Input: 950W Max.' and 'Max Input: 850W'; the official manual states 850 W max (and 'AC + DC Input 1000W Max.' combined). Manual value (850 W) used; 950 W claim preserved, not silently resolved. Full recharge: manual Turbo '1.5 hours' (Standard 2 h, Silent 4 h); landing page '1.3-1.6 Hours (850W Turbo Charging)'. Expansion: B80/B230/B300 compatibility is via Power Bank Mode (batteries recharge the AC70 through its DC input); B80 marketing cites 'scales up to 1,574Wh' but no official max combined figure exists — maxExpandableCapacityWh left null. Direct fetch of /products/ac70 hit a redirect loop at check time; the page is live in the official site index and specs were cross-confirmed via the official AC2A/AC70 landing page and manual.

Use cases
- Weekend camping: 10.2 kg with real AC headroom and dual 100 W USB-C
- Small home office backup via ≤20 ms switchover (not for high-performance UPS loads per BLUETTI)
- Resistive kitchen loads up to 2,000 W via Power Lifting mode
- Off-grid charging with 500 W solar input and MPPT
Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
- Dual 100 W USB-C ports — rare in the sub-800 Wh class
- Fast 850 W turbo charge: stated full recharge in 1.5 h
- 500 W solar input is high for the class
- 3,000-cycle LiFePO4 rating
- 5-year warranty
Weaknesses
- Only two AC outlets
- 1,000 W continuous ceiling outside Power Lifting's resistive-only boost
- Marketed 'UPS' excludes high-performance UPS loads per BLUETTI's own manual
- Expansion is via Power Bank Mode recharging only — no native expansion port or official combined-capacity figure
Use-case fit

Comparisons featuring this product
Mid Capacity: BLUETTI AC70 vs Pecron E600LFP vs Goal Zero Yeti 500 vs Goal Zero Yeti 700 vs Anker SOLIX C800 Plus
Five US-market LiFePO4 stations between 499 and 768 Wh. Output philosophy splits them: BLUETTI, Pecron, and Anker push 1,000–1,200 W inverters into this size class, while Goal Zero pairs smaller 500–600 W inverters with 4,000-cycle packs and sub-20 ms switching.
